Weston, Florida is a large suburban city in Broward County. It has approximately 10 neighborhoods and is the 38th largest community in the state. It is part of the Miami-Fort Lauderdale-Pompano Beach Metropolitan Statistical Area and is the westernmost community in Broward County. It was developed by Arvida/JMB Reality and was incorporated in September of 1996. It has a commission/manager style of city government and is a major tourist destination.
